NSTI (W), operating at Gurkhabasti, Agartala, West Tripura in 2015 under MSDE, Government of India, focuses on providing vocational training to women trainees of Agartala, Tripura and North Eastern region. With emphasis on occupations with high employability potential, the institute provides need-based training for wage and self-employment. The campus consists of academic and administrative blocks as well as a hostel for 32 girls.
Newly constructed two storey hostel building at NSTI Vadodara, approximately Rs. The building, costing Rs 6 crore, has 40 rooms to accommodate 80 trainees on twin-sharing basis.
